Zoeller Pump Now Offers CEUs!

There are many associations and governing licensure bodies. Some items that groups will endorse or sanction are CEUs (Continuing Education Units) or PDHs (Professional Development Hours).In the training realm, these terms are thrown around a lot, and companies will offer sessions or classes, claiming they qualify for CEUs. BE CAREFUL. Always check that your specific professional license and the location of your governing body really do accept those CEUs as part of your licensure renewal. You don’t want to get to the end of the year and find out that you need more hours. Often, if you wait too long, the classes are closed or irrelevant to your line of work.

Zoeller Company has partnered with the Kentucky Association of Manufacturing Contractors to begin offering CEUs approved by their organization for Kentucky Licensed Plumbers. This is significant no matter where you live, because you can call your local board to see if they accept other states’ hours and find out what needs to happen to get those credits accepted in your state!

In 2018, we will start holding monthly, approved CEU training in our Center For Excellence in Louisville, KY. One of the great things about our training facility is that it is not theoretical. We offer HANDS-ON training, and we are so proud of the impact. We want our guests to be able to take product apart, see where our parts are made from raw castings, and have the chance to talk to the knowledgeable professionals making Zoeller products right here in our plant. We hope the people who will service and repair our pumps have as much ownership and pride in their work as we do.
