Tháng Hai 2, 2018With a reputation for producing high performing, quality products, Zoeller has a rich heritage based on ‘Made in USA’ Manufacturing. Although it has expanded over the years, the company still manufactures products at its original location in Louisville, KY. Even today, over 95% of Zoeller Pump Company’s branded products are made in the USA using a majority of US content.
According to President Bill Zoeller, this isn’t a fad for Zoeller Company. “When our competitors were moving manufacturing jobs to Mexico and China, we never left! We have continued to support our employees – the American worker – right here in the United States”. Mr. Zoeller gives a great deal of credit to his Louisville work force. “With many employees working for us 25, 30, even 40 plus years, these employees are the best reason our customers can be confident a Zoeller pump works right out of the box without call-backs”.
According to Mark Huntebrinker, Director of Marketing, “Zoeller’s commitment to the U.S. workforce, while empowering the American worker, is fairly unique in the plumbing industry”.
Several outside sources confirm why ‘Made-in-America’ may matter to both contractors and homeowners:
- If every adult living in America were to spend $64 more a year on a Made in USA product, it would create 200,000 new jobs! (ABC World News – Diane Sawyer)
- According to a Perception Research Services International study, 4 out of 5 consumers notice a ‘Made in USA’ label on packaging, and 76% said they would be more likely to buy a product because of the label.
- According to the Boston Consulting Group, 80% of consumers said they would be willing to pay more for Made in USA products.
Moving into the 2021 calendar year, Zoeller will continue to emphasize the importance of keeping jobs in America while supporting their American workforce and maintaining product quality and dependability. As Zoeller’s Corporate HR Manager, Dwight Newton, summed it up, “Zoeller customers in the US don’t need a passport to visit our Louisville, KY facilities and see how their products are manufactured and tested”.
